Do You Have Courage?

As people who live the Christian Faith, many of the early believers had an amazing courageous faith.  The same was true of the Early leaders of MCC.  Today, we don’t risk near as much to come out as Christian, but we can still learn to be more courageous in our faith walk.  Ask yourself, if I could do one thing for God today and know that I would not fail, what would I be willing to do?  This May and June, our sermons and teachings will be focused on how to be emboldened in our beliefs and actions.  You will not want to miss a single sermon so if you can’t be present, be sure to watch for the sermon videos on our webpage and continue your support of our church’s ministry.  Pastor Kurt and others are taking an acronym that the Youth of Spirit of Hope MCC came up with to encourage us in our faith.

Garage Sale Fundraiser

Spring is here...the season of Garage Sales.   This Saturday, May 26th, the Community Breakfast Outreach Ministry will be holding a “Basement” Garage Sale in the Spirit of Hope Social Hall from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm.  If you are doing a little spring cleaning and would like to donate items please bring them to the church  during regular business hours (from 10:00 am - 3:30 pm).  All of the money raised will benefit the Breakfast Ministry.  If you have any questions or would like more information please call Daniel Del Valle at 913-206-9138.
